Daniel Herron

Certified Team Clock Consultant

Dan’s calling is to empower growth in others through inspiring change and structuring next steps. He has a 25-year history of rallying individuals into communities of vision and purpose— from leading disaster relief teams, to forming service-oriented non-profits, to starting churches, to starting new businesses. Through his decades of leadership, Dan has learned to embrace significant hardships as opportunities for growth. He has pursued the practice of overcoming challenges by taking achievable and consistent steps while also keeping an eye on strategic vision. He founded Strive Performance as a platform to help individuals, teams, and organizations embrace this same sort of growth mindset for themselves.

Dan is currently engaged as an orgnizational-culture consultant and executive coach to the leadership and staff of a bourgeoning boutique financial advising firm, as an executive coach to the CEO of an historic Indianapolis-based non-profit, and as a coach to IronMan athletes and fitness enthusiasts in Central Indiana. Dan’s passion specializes him in developing leaders of grit, virtue, creativity, collaboration, and purpose who bring excellence and flourishing into everything they do.

In addition to his certification as a Team Clock Consultant, Dan also holds certifications as a Fitness Professional through the American Council on Exercise, and as an IRONMAN U Triathlon Coach. He holds an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary with a focus in ethics, communications, and leadership, and a B.S. in Social Sciences Secondary Education from Illinois State University. Dan’s whole-life-integrated approach to coaching and consulting draws from his 20+ year background in education, non-profit service, entrepreneurial leadership, fundraising, counseling and spiritual care, mentorship, organization-building, business, fitness, and competitive endurance sports. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Erica, and they live in Indianapolis with their three teenagers.
